I enjoyed this beautiful hike with my brother Rohit and our friends Ambika and Hari. The hike was a humbling experience that tested our resilience, patience, and grit—and gave us wonderful memories we’ll cherish forever. Hats off to the agencies and volunteer superheroes who maintain this incredible trail for mere mortals like us to enjoy!

Solo day hiked from Whitney Portal. It was a long day of hiking, but I did it! What a beautiful hiking trail. This hike wouldn’t be possible without my wife and daughters , so this hike is dedicated to them. I love you ❤️ #nimsdai

Best challenge, views, day hike of my life! Definitely had an easier time than some because the altitude didn’t make me sick, but I still slowed down the last mile tremendously. That sign that says 1.9 miles to summit doesn’t mean you’re almost there haha. But the landscape is a huge motivation. I was speechless. The ascent was not too bad at all. I think my pace was good. And nice to see the glider plane at the top for an extra show. The descent though - that’s where your endurance is tested. It never seemed to end. But I’m so glad this personal goal has been fulfilled! Amazing!!! Highly recommend, if you dare. Doing this in a day requires crazy resilience. Don’t underestimate. Took longer than expected. But again, simply amazing. I’m speechless (clearly not).
